“Liquid Sunshine – Abstractionism,” was inspired when painting in my studio during the rain, whereby the rain in my emotions was replaced by a sense of optimism about everything. Optimism in this world in short supply, so this painting reflects that is emotionally abundant, we just have to tap into it. It is an exploration of abstractionism.
I like using acrylics as the colours blend so well together. This work has glittery dried acrylic as well, one image shows, side on, the effect. It is designed to catch the light.
“Liquid Sunshine – Abstractionism,” was painted on 12 oz gallery canvas and has been sealed with varnish. The canvas is hand stretched onto a frame is 93 cm in width by 121 cm in height.
“Liquid Sunshine – Abstractionism,” was created on 3rd June 2019.
In my paintings, I use the finest quality professional Liquitex acrylic paints, gallery canvas. The painting was sprayed with a glaze of varnish.
